| Christmas is nearly upon us marking the end of
another year. This year Blagdon has again welcomed record
amounts of visitors to the estate and has hosted many
school visits. The two Red Cross days which were entirely
run by the Blagdon committee were a huge success raising
over £7,000 for charity which is way above previous
takings and is a testiment to the dedication of the
organising team and helpers. The Tenants committe ran the
three events this year at Easter, in the Summer and at
Halloween. All were successful and well attended. I
cannot thank enough the people who have given their time
freely this year to help organise these events and the
people who have come along to support them. The sense of
community is building on Blagdon and new friendships are
being forged, I hope that all of this makes Blagdon a
good and happy place to live and raise children and that
you will all continue to support these events in the
future. Remember if you would like to help please let me
know, we are always looking for offers of help and
donations of cakes and buns, I am sure there are people
out there who can bake, we would love to hear from you. I
would really like to resurrect the Tenants plant stall
for the April Red Cross opening, I hope that we may look
forward to people growing some plants that can be sold on
the day, please let me know if you are able to do this. We
intend to hold events again next year at Easter, in the
summer and at Halloween, keep the following dates free;
Good Friday, Easter Sunday, 10th July, 17th October and
the 31st October. I hope that we will see you all at
these events. Please keep checking the website for

| Northumberlandia is shaping up to be a major project
produced by Banks and Blagdon for the benefit of the
region. We are very excited about the potential that this
project promises and we are sure that we will all be very
proud when the park is opened to the public, which is
scheduled for 2012. The planning is now well advanced,
and work is scheduled to start early next year.
