The Milkhope Centre when it was a working farm. (Right >) Harsh economic reality has meant that many farms have had to be combined into larger, more efficient agricultural units. Often this has led to the neglect and dereliction of fine farm buildings. Blagdon Estate has not let this happen at Milkhope, where the sturdy Northumbrian stone buildings have been extensively refurbished and put to viable alternative use.
