The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Event (by invitation only).
Thank you to everyone that sent us their RSVP for the event at
Blagdon in June. We are all very much looking forward to the
event.

National Garden Scheme - Charity Open Day at Blagdon
The next open garden event is for the National Garden Scheme on
Sunday 22nd May, 1-4.30pm. Admission for adults is £6, children
under 16 years free entry. Explore the gardens, trees,
shrubs. Tickets may be purchased online in advance from the NGS website.
Open Garden Event - Postponed (Red Cross)
The Red Cross has decided to postpone their open garden event
that was due to take place at Blagdon on the 24th of April this
year. Please see our spring newsletter, and the dates
for the other charity events this year when we do open our gates to
the public.
School Visits in April 2022
A Country Trust school visit is to the farm is due to take place
at Blagdon on Wednesday 4th May. Please continue to drive carefully
and be aware we are expecting children at Blagdon on those
dates.
March 2022
The Spring newsletter has sprung! Please see the March
newsletter which has just been published. This includes the dates
of the Charity Open Garden Events this year.
The Walled Garden has been re-opened as the broken glass panes
have been replaced. Please continue to be careful under
foot.
Frosty's Mobile Fish and Chips
Frosty's come to Blagdon on the last Friday of each month,
between 4.30-7pm. This is for use by the Blagdon community and
their menu and price list is advertised in our notice boards.
Link House North Project, Blyth, Northumberland - January
2022
Work is due to start on the retail and leisure centre project at
Blyth this week. This is a an exiciting new development for
the Blagdon Estate and for the local area.

Blagdon is an extremely popular place to live and we dont have
any properties for let at this time. We have 100% occupancy
across the estate but we will update this section of our website
once we have properties to let in 2022. We do have
commercial properties for let and to enquire about the details,
email enquiries@blagdonestate.co.uk
Footpaths and dogs:
The Home Farm along with the estates farm tenants, shooting
syndicates and forestry team all work together to conserve and
enhance wildlife habitats found on the estate - as a result we have
seeen numbers of threatened farmland birds such as Grey Partridge,
Yellowhammer and Lapwing stabilise or in some cases increase.
However, these birds will be starting to nest and therefore it is
important to emphasize that footpaths are kept to and dogs are in
close control or kept on leads.
If you have queries on the location of footpaths or any other
access query, please contact the estate office.
Horse Riders
Blagdon has seen an increase in the number of horse riders using
our estate. As Blagdon is a private estate, riders are being
asked to produce their permits to show they have the necessary
permission. The permits are sold out for 2021 but if you wish
to be added to our waiting list for next year please let the estate
office know.
South Beach Development:
We are very pleased to announce that planning permission was
recently granted for our 'Coastal Hub' at South Beach, Blyth NE24
3PG.
This is an exciting opportunity for retail and leisure-based
businesses, to let units in such a beautiful part of
Northumberland. South Beach benefits from a very diverse
landscape, long, sandy beaches, which is extremely popular with
visitors.

Estate Office opening hours are Monday - Friday, from 9am -
1pm. Outside of these hours we offer an appointment only
service. Enquiries and reports of repairs can be made by
telephone to the office during the reception opening hours.

obtained through the answerphone.

One of our day nurseries has recently been taken over and has
re-opened its doors. From September the nursery will open
from 7am-7pm for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years old.
