Open Gardens Easter Sunday 8th April.

1pm to 4.30pm.  Entry £3.50 per adult, accompanied children under 12 free.

Blagdon Committee will once again be opening the gardens on behalf of the British Red Cross on Easter Sunday 8th April.
Blagdon was the first garden to open in 1930 and since then the scheme has spread to all corners of the country with garden owners opening their gardens and raising funds for the Red Cross. Blagdon has held open gardens ever since and it has become a tradition
that Blagdon opens each season with its spring Open Gardens Event. In recent years this event has been entirely run by the Blagdon tenants with additional attractions to welcome visitors to the estate.
This year along with the traditional attractions, extensive woodlands walks and magnificent daffodil display, we will be running the tractor and trailer trips again following the re opening of the iron bridge, these trips give visitors access to parts of the estate not normally
seen, and gives an insight into Blagdon’s rich history. There will be a display of vintage cycles and hopefully a display of vintage tractors. We also hope to have a display of firewood processing and wildlife education points. Click HERE for a poster.
