Shotton has been part of the Blagdon
Estate for more than 200 years. The area is
now subject to proposals from H.J.Banks for a
surface mine coal mine to recover 3.4 million
tonnes of coal over eight years. Blagdon
fully supports these proposals. We have
worked with Banks Developments for over 20
years and have seen enormous environmental
and economic benefits come from their work.
